Principal aims of the group Recent years have seen an acceleration of interest in the analysis, management and control of supply chains (SCs). More and more production/manufacturing, distribution and retail organisations are addressing the question of how to develop an effective SC including strategic level, SC business planning and SC short-term operations and control. The main objective of the group is to develop new approaches and suitable methodological tools for SC management and control that will help practitioners in industry and consulting business and will be included in education.
